The impact of the current and unprecedented Australian bushfires has devastated communities across Australia. Our thoughts are with all who have been affected. The impacts are widespread and being experienced by our people in varied ways; from mourning loss, to being displaced from home, to experiencing business disruption. Volunteers have also stepped out of their day-to-day lives and been instrumental in protecting and helping devastated communities.
Our team is looking at tangible ways that we can help. Our first step is to offer a two-month premium wavier for Zurich and OnePath Life customers across Australia who have been impacted by the conditions and who are experiencing hardship.
This offer is available until 31 March 2020 and will be reassessed as the bushfire situation unfolds.
The premium waiver will apply to all Zurich and OnePath life insurance customers who:
By waiving life insurance premiums for our customers impacted directly and for those supporting the firefighting efforts, we hope to ease some of the financial burden our customers face so they can focus on their immediate needs.
If you would like to arrange a premium waiver for your client, please contact your OnePath Life Business Development Manager

Through our partnership with Mindstar we have useful and practical fact sheets that help you identify and assist others who may be struggling with their mental health and wellbeing.
The Z Zurich Foundation has donated $100,000 to the bushfire crisis and will continue to help by supplementing your donations to the Australian Red Cross (to $500,000). Please use this link to donate www.redcross.org.au/zurich and Z Zurich Foundation will help your dollar go even further to help devastated communities.
Please feel free to share this broadly amongst your clients and staff. The further you send it, the higher the support goes.
